Awake and asleep

Enjoying the chasm

Things that I dream of 

Nobody needs to know of

Certain and confused

Question the feelings

Words that are unclear

Gets clearer when you're near

Confident and fearful

Precious moments that cause pain

Swaying between should and want

Past mistakes that haunt

But I'll knock myself out

There's always doubt

Fool me once then fool me twice
